After hearing the twentytwo single, I’ve been eager for the release of Wolfe & Bear, the collaborative effort featuring Virgil Wolfe and Cunabear on lyrical duty and Vast Ness on production, all representing BearTooth Collective. Luckily for me, the entire project follows the path laid by twentytwo, using lush, mellow production as a bed for lyrics that cover a wide range of topics, feelings and emotions. This is hip-hop that feels like a good conversation with like-minded friends that leaves you feeling better than you did when you arrived.
